Functionality

The programmable digital output module is another component of the educational measurement data visualization and collection system. It is an actuator module introducing interaction between the measured quantities and actuator elements such as motors, relays, valves, etc. Together with the hardware design project, we undertook the task of developing an interpreter for a dedicated scripting language — supporting the entire system. Design and implementation work performed by Siltegro: Device operating concept preparation, schematic design and PCB design, firmware development, prototype series production, pre-compliance tests, preparation of a complete production documentation package, scripting language syntax development, scripting language interpreter development, preparation of the programming language description and a set of example programs, preparation of the technical description and the finished module user manual. Production work performed by Siltegro: Supply of the complete component set (PCB, electronic components, enclosure), package assembly (SMT and THT), final assembly, testing, packaging of the finished module.
