Functionality

This is one of the longer projects we have had the opportunity to carry out — longer because of the number of iterations that had to be performed. These resulted from the natural evolution the device underwent. It started as simple electronics adding a galvanic skin response (GSR) measurement function to a regular mouse, and ended as a unit that additionally measures and records: heart rate variability (HRV), saturation, humidity and skin temperature. The finished device looks like a regular mouse. Once connected to a computer, it also behaves like one. Design and implementation work performed by Siltegro: Feasibility study, schematic design, PCB design, firmware development, tool software development, prototype series production, pre-compliance tests, research for CE certification, preparation of a complete production documentation package, preparation of the technical description. Production work performed by Siltegro: Supply of the complete component set (PCB, electronic components, 3D-printed enclosure), package assembly (SMT and THT), programming, testing, final assembly of the entire device, tests.
